Scott Wainwright Moving On

Some say that a musical age where technology prevails is a bad thing, that very notion is preferential, but what the aforementioned statement does mean is that – any song created with raw materials can be appreciated far more. Pieces like ‘Moving on’ by Scott Wainwright fall straight into that category.

No auto-tuned voices, no fancy tech-y after-effects added on top; just a pure voice of talent. The single which is due for release in November is carried along at a fast pace, but at the same time refuses to let go of a delicate aura that the acoustic guitar creates. The whole single feels so effortless, completely uncalculated but yet so well put together. A combination that is hard to come by, and that’s what makes ‘Moving On’ a thoroughly enjoyable composition.

The single also comes with a slightly slower-in-tempo B-side ‘Soon Saturday night will be Sunday morning’, an equally enjoyable listen, which packs in the voices of both Scott and his touring partner Lisa Marie Glover. Both voices sit side by side to give the song layers of different tones which collaborate perfectly to make a brilliant release altogether.

The single is now available to download from iTunes and other download stores online.
